Last weekend, my boyfriend and I had a big fight and I decided to dump him for good. While looking through the newspaper, I saw the advertisement for speed dating. It caught my attention!

Speed dating provides the thrill which I felt was what I was lacking in my relationship. So I decided to give it a go. I called up the agency and applied to go for it. Furthermore, it would probably help me to get over my ex-boyfriend easier by keeping myself busy in my personal life.

It was arranged for the following weekend.

Days passed by and it was the day I’ve to go for my speed dating. I am all excited and ready. It was so funny meeting different guys for just 5 minutes and here came another one! It passed in a blur. No one seem to catch my attention and neither interest. I was disappointed and felt it was a waste of my time. When I was about to throw the towel and suddenly this gorgeous man walked in with an irresistible smile and passionate eyes. I was glued and unable to move my eyes away from him.

He just smiled and I was totally mesmerized by him. I was tongue tied and made a total fool of myself. I wondered did I drool. I have never ever felt like this before. I met and dated quite a number of men and none of them have ever made me felt the way I was today. It made me felt like it was god send. Could it be love at first sight? It felt so special and gave me butterflies in my stomach.

After the speed dating, we decided to meet up and go for a dinner. It was amazing and we were both were behaving like a teenager in love. Giggling, stealing kisses and whispering to each other on the ear. It made me felt so special and loved. He was such a lovable man who was so sensitive and caring. I was glad I joined the speed dating, if not, I wouldn’t be able to meet such an amazing man, Jack! He accepted me for who I am and a man with a fabulous character and a good sense of humour! Thumb up for speed dating. It had changed both of our lives as it was where we met our soul mate.
