Being single and staying home by myself most of the weekends was what I normally do. I enjoyed being at home, watching television and having a cup of tea. Mostofmy best mates were probably out with their partners partying. It didn’t bother me a bit being single and loving the way I am.My family was very worried about me especially my younger sister as I will be hitting the big 30 soon.She always nagging at me and even sent me several dating websites via my email urging me to give ita go!

Out of curiosity and boredom as there was nothing interesting on the television,I decided to check out on the dating websites. Afterbrowsing and laughing at some"catchy and funny" introduction from some men, therewas this guy who caught my attention with his introduction "patience is gold". This caught my interest instantly. I decided to send him a message and was surprised to get a response!

After been talking to each other online for a month,we agreed to exchange our phone number.It changed my views using dating websites. We talked on the phone every day, several times a day and long into the night.We seem to knoweverything about each other, our hopes, our dreams, our hobbies and our aspirations.No doubt about our most embarrassing moments. It was a nice waygetting to know and understand each other better. I began looking forward to the evening where we both would ended up onthe phone chattingand laughing away. It became part ofour daily routine. Finally the time came wherehe decided it was time for us to meet up.I felt so excited and couldn’t wait to meet him this coming Friday.

We decided on a quiet restaurant not too far away from my house. It was a candle light dinner in a nice cozy restaurant. Normally it just took me less than 15 minutes to get ready but this time I couldn’t help but getting butterflies in my stomach and was taking me more than an hour to get dress up!

When I reached the restaurant looking around and our eyesmet and knew instantly. I couldn’t believe my luck to meet such a charming guy from the dating websites! His smile was so gorgeous. It was love at first sight. When the food arrived, the aroma filled my nose and my stomach started to make some silly noise which ended up with both of us burst out laughing. It was a light and relaxing evening. We adore each other company.
