My Adult Outlooks

I had come home from a hard day at work tonight to find my loving boyfriend at the dinner table with dinner on the table with candle light. Oh, what a pleasant surprise to walk into after work. All I wanted to do all day was to just get home and kick off my shoes and to spend some time with my boyfriend Patrick. He just sends my heart swinging into the clouds when he does loving things for me like that. And the great thing about it is he doesn't do it because he wants to get on my good side, he does genuinely does it because he wants to. He is the most loving, sweet, handsome men that I know. And the great thing about it is that he is all mine.

Lately we have been talking about marriage a lot. He hasn't really come out and said that he wants to get married so to speak. But he has been hinting at it quite a bit, which justsends my head swinging into the clouds every time he mentions it. There isn't anything better that I would want other than to get married to this most wonderful man. He does whisper in my ear that he wants to marry me, but he never has actually proposed to me. I do feel that the day is getting closer that he will finally ask me to marry him. And I know exactly what I will say. Of course it will be yes, I wouldn't be more happy.

After dinner was over, we put the dishes into the sink and I had full intentions of starting to clean up the kitchen. But Patrick had different plans. He said to just leave them and that he would get to them in the morning. Tomorrow was Saturday so we would have plenty of time to finish them up the next day. When I went out onto the porch, he was sitting and swinging on the porch swing and asked me to come sit by him. I sank right in next to him and laid my head on his shoulder. We sat there swinging on the porch swing for awhile and enjoyed the evening. When it was about time to get up and go inside for the evening, that is when he said he had a question for me. The questiion was, would I marry him? YES!
