My Adult Outlooks

I was living in Sydney. I had a four year work visa and I was working for a hospital as a midwife. I missed my family and friends back home although I did manage to make a few new friends in Australia. One of them was called Laura and she had split up from her boyfriend and so she was determined to find a new one. She persuaded me to go off speed dating with her. At first I hadn't been too keen on speed dating. But I had ended things with my boyfriend Dominic before leaving Ireland.

The speed dating venue was in Manly, a short walk from the beach. It was full of tables and we were told to sit at particular ones of them. I was number 2 and Laura was number 4. I felt quite nervous when one of the guys came to sit next to me. A bell rang and I introduced myself to him. He told me his name was Aiden and he was working as a banker in the city. He was gorgeous looking with wavy mid brown hair and pale blue eyes. I was annoyed when the bell rang and he had to move on to the blond haired lady. A ginger haired guy with green eyes came to sit next to me. His name was Daniel and he worked as engineer. I liked his sweet smile and his funny laugh.The other guys that I met were alright but nothing special.

Three of the guys had liked me and I got given their telephone numbers. They were Aiden, Daniel and Phil. I arranged to meet my favourite one on the Saturday, that was Aiden. We met up by Circular Quay and walked past the opera house to the botanical gardens. We laid down a rug and had a picnic on the grass. Aiden took me to the cinema that evening and we saw a scary film. Afterwards he kissed me and held me tightly in his arms. As he walked away I thought he looked really cute and lovable.

I met up with Daniel on Wednesday after work. My feet had been aching after delivering a baby so he gave my feet a lovely massage in the bar that we went to. After our round of drinks we had a walk along the coast line at Bond Beach. We sat on a bench and the sea view was really picturesque. He kissed my lips really gently. He took me back to his house and we went into the bedroom. We took all our clothes off and made love over and over again, all night long. I felt really tired for work the next day. We became a couple and he was only the second guy I had dated from the speed dating venue that I had been to.
